Description

The Quater Vitis Rosso Firriato captures the Sicilian wine scene in a glass and is a blend of Nero d'Avola, Perricone, and Frappato grapes grown on the Pianoro Cuddìa estate, while the Nerello Cappuccio is grown on the Cavanera estate at approximately 680 meters above sea level on Mount Etna. It is made from four different harvests and each wine is vinified separately to enhance the unique characteristics of each variety. Each wine is aged in American and French oak barrels for a maximum of 10 months. The different types of wood contribute oaky notes. The finest cuvées obtained are blended to create this wine, which harmoniously enhances the red fruit aromas of Nero d'Avola, the freshness of Frappato, the spicy notes of Nerello Cappuccio, and the elegance of Perricone.
