Penfolds Koonunga Hill 76 Rosso is a bold South Australian red wine, crafted from Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon grown on several estate-owned parcels in the Barossa Valley. The grapes are carefully selected during harvest and immediately transferred to the winemaking facility, where they are destemmed. The must ferments in stainless steel tanks, and for the final stage of maturation, the wine is transferred to French and American oak barrels for 10 months, after which it is ready for bottling.
