The Rocca delle Macìe Chianti Classico 'Riserva di Fizzano' Gran Selezione is full of charm and territorial appeal. The grapes for this Gran Selezione come entirely from the Fizzano estate. After fermentation, the wine ages for approximately two years in 35-hl French oak barrels, with a small portion maturing in 225-liter barriques for a few months. It then ages for a further year in bottle before release.
