Conterno Giacomo
L'azienda Giacomo Conterno nasce agli inizi del '900 per mano del suo omonimo fondatore e conta oggi circa 17 ettari di terreni vitati tra Monforte d'Alba e Serralunga d'Alba. E' proprio in quest'ultimo comune che la famiglia Conterno nel 1974 acquista la vigna "Cascina Francia", un vero e proprio habitat naturale per Nebbiolo e Barbera. Da qui nascono i grandissimi Barolo targati Giacomo Conterno, magistralmente prodotti da Roberto Conterno che è oggi alla guida dell'azienda.
Una menzione speciale spetta al leggendario Barolo Monfortino, prodotto per la prima volta nel 1934 e così chiamato per ricordare la storica casa di famiglia sita a Monforte d'Alba, che viene prodotto solo nelle migliori annate e affina per lunghi anni prima di essere immesso in commercio. Un vero e proprio monumento del vino italiano.
