Abbazia Di Novacella Pinot Noir is produced in Cornaiano (Appiano) at an altitude of 350–420 meters above sea level, in soil composed of permeable moraine deposits on a porphyry base with a north, north-west exposure. Vinification takes place through fermentation in stainless steel with maceration on the skins for 15 days. Malolactic fermentation and maturation take place in 60 hl oak barrels.
