Lagrein Tramin is produced exclusively from the eponymous grape. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and placed in small containers to preserve their integrity. The grapes are then destemmed and fermented at a controlled temperature (28-30°C) in small steel and concrete tanks, where malolactic fermentation takes place. The wine is then aged in oak barrels of various sizes and partially in concrete vats for at least 6 months.

How to taste it

Visual tasting
Clear, ruby red in color with light purple reflections. Consistent.

On the nose, the bouquet smells of violets, blackberries and cherries, accompanied by herbaceous hints.

What to pair wine with Lagrein Tramin 2024
Lagrein Tramin is excellent with many South Tyrolean dishes, especially game, venison, English-style red meats, and mature, spicy cheeses.
