Vajra's Freisa 'Kyè' is made from the eponymous grape, which, due to its ripening pattern, is one of the last varieties harvested by the winery. The grapes are hand-selected three times: directly on the vine, whole bunches on sorting tables, and finally individual berries after destemming. Fermentation lasts 15 to 25 days in vertical vats, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation. It ages for 26 months, mostly in large oak barrels.
