Casale del Giglio Petit Verdot is perfect with roast lamb chops.

Casale del Giglio Petit Verdot is produced with 100% Petit Verdot from very ripe grapes. The red wine is vinified partly with a submerged cap to extract the sweetest tannins and partly with punching down to ensure optimal color extraction. Fermentation with a submerged cap continues for 15 days at a temperature ranging from 26–28°C. During the initial stages of maceration, délestages are performed to soften the tannins and stabilize the color. After racking, malolactic fermentation begins, conducted partly in stainless steel and partly in wood. Aged in barriques for 8–12 months and for 6 months in bottle.
