Planeta's 'Sito dell'Ulmo' Merlot is a pure Merlot and, for several years now, also a Single Vineyard. Years of experience have led to the Ulmo vineyards, planted in 1987 on the shores of Lake Arancio, being the ideal place to grow this ancient French variety. Destemming and crushing followed by 14 days of maceration; fermentation at 28°C; after racking, malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel and the wine ages for 14 months in barriques.
