The 2020 Tassinaia Castello del Terriccio is a Bordeaux blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with a Tuscan character. The individual grapes are harvested separately, depending on the timing of their ripening. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature and with maceration on the skins for approximately one month. The wines mature in French Allier oak barriques for approximately 14-16 months, before being blended and bottled. Before being released for sale, the wine ages in the bottle for a year.
