What to pair wine with Sauvignon Livio Felluga 2024

Sauvignon Livio Felluga is excellent as an aperitif and goes very well with asparagus, vegetable soups, legume purees and marinated fish.

Contains sulfites.

Sauvignon Livio Felluga is produced with the French grape of the same name, which was introduced to Friuli during the Habsburg domination and became popular in the early 1900s. The grapes are delicately destemmed and left to macerate for a short period. They are then softly pressed and the resulting must is clarified by decantation. The must then ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is left on the lees in stainless steel tanks for six months. The bottled wine is normally stored in temperature-controlled rooms for at least two months. A fresh and captivating wine, with unmistakable and varied aromas featuring notes of exotic fruit, yellow pepper, tomato leaves, mint, lantana, and boxwood. It is a classic wine of the Friulian tradition.
