The Rosso Piceno ''Breccarolo'' Velenosi is produced with a blend of 70% Montepulciano and 30% Sangiovese grapes, harvested by hand in mid-October. After destemming, the grapes are transferred to 200-hectare stainless steel fermentation tanks equipped with a temperature-controlled pumping system. Maceration on the skins lasts approximately twenty days. After fermentation, the wine is transferred to second-use barriques, where the wines destined for the production of Roggio and Ludi were stored the previous year.
