What to pair wine with Nero D'Avola Marabino Riserva 'Archimede' 2021

Nero d'Avola ''Archimede'' Riserva Marabino pairs well with red meats, game, stews, and mature cheeses.

Contains sulfites.

Nero d'Avola 'Archimede' Riserva Marabino was born from the purchase of this vineyard in the Buonivini district of Val di Noto, planted with Nero d'Avola bush vines, on calcareous soil with a slightly southerly exposure, at a density of 7,000 vines/ha. The vineyard features a variety of fruit trees, from pomegranate to service tree to apricot, and a large palm tree, which once served to indicate the presence of a well. The deep roots of these vines, over fifty years old, dig deep into the soil, imparting a concentration and richness of salty and mineral elements, giving this wine remarkable breadth and elegant nuances that clearly distinguish it from all the other wines produced by the winery. Vinified in stainless steel (spontaneous fermentation, lengthy maceration of the must with the skins in stainless steel tanks) and aged for at least thirty months in spherical concrete tanks before continuing with lengthy bottle aging. A wine with character and personality.
