Girlan winery was founded in 1923, through the work of 23 winemakers in the village of Girlan / Cornaiano South Tyrol in a historic farm of the sixteenth century. Moscato Rosa Pasithea' Girlan is grown right in Girlan on Oltradige hills, at a height of 450-500 m s.l.m. in well aired vineyards. The production soil is rich in minerals formed by Ice Age sediments, particularly the vineyards cover a slightly hilly area close to the lakes of Monticolo. The aroma is composed of aromas of roses, ripe wild strawberry, cranberry and a spiced cinnamon scent. The taste is soft with soft tannins, a sweet fullness in the mouth and persistent. A raisin very light and unobtrusive. Never cloying. Best served at a temperature of 12-14 degrees.'
