Franciacorta Corte Fusia Rosè is a Franciacorta with a bold, elegant character and a distinct vinosity. It is the company's interpretation of Pinot Noir vinified as a rosé, distinctive to the terroir, and the expression of a single vintage. After destemming and crushing, a light maceration of approximately four hours is performed, followed by pressing and separation of the first and second pressings. After the must has clarified, selected yeasts are added for fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. This is followed by racking and a lowering of the temperature to approximately 10°C to prevent malolactic fermentation, with regular battonage (stirring) until March, when the tirage liqueur is added, the wine is bottled, capped with a crown cork, and laid horizontally in a stack for secondary fermentation. The stacked bottles remain in contact with the lees for at least 36 months before being removed. Then disgorge and dose only with the same wine.
