Chateau De Pibarnon Blanc is produced with a blend of 55% Clairette, 30% Bourboulenc, and 15% various other varietals. The vineyards overlook the sea at an altitude of 300 meters, nestled on these amphitheater-like slopes. Pibarnon is fortunate not only to have some rare cultivable northern slopes that allow for the slow ripening of the white wines, but also to have an unusual richness in its subsoil: the blue marls of the Santonian period. This extremely rare formation is a characteristic of the subsoils of France's most prestigious estates. It is vinified as a white wine with direct pressing and cold decantation. It is fermented in vats using the traditional method. It ages in stainless steel tanks to preserve its splendor, purity, and freshness.
