Visual

Clear, full ruby red color and full, quite substantial.

Olfactive

Intense and quite complex, opens with a nice elegant and fruity bouquet, the first impact currant and morello cherry, then emerge balsamic and tobacco. Fine enough.

Tasting

Dry, warm, soft, quite fresh and tangy, intense wine with fine and elegant tannins, intriguing minerality and velvety on the palate with good persistence.

Combinations

The wine goes well with red meat and game. also excellent with cheeses of medium and long seasoning, as well as with smoked dishes.

Project started in 2001, it consists of a blend of Merlot and Refosco, born after a careful evaluation of microclimate and soil conditions in the eastern hills of Friuli estate, just call the Podere Blumeri. The wine that goes with it is an excellent summary of all the factors that led to the creation: the soil, the vines, the history and especially the passion of all the people who have undoubtedly shaped the form. Classic example of unity between Native and non-native vines in harmony with the terroir.
