Barbaresco Rivella Montestefano 2017 is made from pure Nebbiolo grapes from the two hectares that Teobaldo Rivella owns in the eponymous Montestefano cru. All vineyard operations are manual, and no pesticides, herbicides, or mold inhibitors are used, only natural elements like copper and sulfur. The wine is made according to tradition, with four weeks of maceration and spontaneous fermentation, followed by two years of aging in large Slavonian barrels and another year in the bottle.
