How to taste it

Visual tasting
Crystalline, full straw yellow with light golden reflections, consistent.
Olfactory tasting
Intense, ample, and refined. It combines a fine bouquet of wildflowers with fruity notes of ripe apricot and quince, continuing with pleasant notes of honey, vegetal notes of tomato leaf, and finishing with a hint of flint.

It has a dry, smooth, and overall harmonious flavor, with exceptional persistence thanks to its particularly full body. A wine that amazes with its great structure combined with extraordinary elegance.

Jermann's 'Vintage Tunina' is born in the heart of the Collio area. The first trials of this blend date back to the 1973 harvest, and the first vintage released under this name and label was the 1975 vintage. It is produced with a blend of Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana, and Picolit, with a meticulous and careful selection of the finest grapes from dedicated vineyards, which are harvested late. The name Tunina refers to the former owner of the land on which the original vineyard is located, and is also dedicated to Casanova's poorest lover, a governess from Venice, whose name, precisely, was Tunina (Antonia). A wine that for over thirty years has reverberated in the collective imagination as one of the finest examples of Friulian, Italian, and international white wines. So much so that as early as 1976, Luigi Veronelli, one of the world's leading wine experts, dubbed Vintage Tunina 'the Mennea of Italian wines.' It is best served at a temperature of 10-12 degrees Celsius.
