Jermann Sauvignon is a classic from Collio and Friuli-Venezia Giulia in general. It is grown with the finest Sauvignon grapes on a soil composed of marl and sandstone. The vineyards are located in sunny positions and enjoy a dry climate that yields wines of great personality, structure, and elegance. The wine is crystalline, free of suspended particles, and straw yellow in color with evident greenish highlights. On the nose, it is intense and quite complex. It releases prominent vegetal notes, fruity nuances, and aromatic hints reminiscent of elderberry, acacia flowers, and sage. On the palate, it is dry, warm, and quite smooth, with a refreshing acidity and a long finish. Best served at 10-12 degrees Celsius.
