Vespolina Guido Platinetti is produced from the eponymous grape variety grown on 0.11 hectares located in the Ronco Maso region in the municipality of Ghemme at an altitude between 250 and 300 meters above sea level. Harvest is manual, taking place in the third week of September. The entire fermentation and maceration process can last from 3 to 5 days and is carried out entirely in horizontal stainless steel fermenters equipped with moving paddles that punch down the cap to facilitate the release of coloring and tannins from the skins. Maturation takes place entirely in stainless steel tanks for a minimum of 9 months, followed by bottle aging in dedicated cool, dark cellars for at least 4 months.
