Fattoria Coroncino's Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore 'Gaiospino' comes from a vineyard located in the municipality of Cupramontana called Spescia. The vineyard is located at 340 meters above sea level, on the site of a former gypsum quarry. The soil, calcareous marl, is steeply sloped with transverse rows and a southwest exposure. The vineyard dates back to 1979 and covers an area of 2 hectares. Gaiospino comes from a selection of grapes harvested at full maturity. 20-30% of the wine ferments in 500-liter oak barrels and remains on its lees (as in tanks) until bottling, which takes place after 16-18 months.
