Sapaio Rosso Podere Sapaio 2020 is a fine Bolgheri wine, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot aged for at least 18 months in barrique. It is the fruit of a young company, founded in 1999, with 40 hectares of vineyards that has earned a prominent place in the Italian winemaking scene. The work is guided by a philosophy that, while aiming to conserve and preserve the terroir, also experiments with new ways to extract the most natural riches from the soil: extracts of brown algae and laminaria are used to fortify the plants, and orange essential oil and propolis are used for their care. In short, a manifesto of ethical and sustainable viticulture. The result is a wine that has received multiple Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri awards.
