Sangiovese Spinelli is produced in the heart of the province of Chieti, between the Maiella National Park and the Adriatic Sea. The hilly area averages 230 meters above sea level and features predominantly clay-limestone soils. It undergoes a brief traditional red maceration at a controlled temperature in stainless steel fermenters. It is released no earlier than April/May of the year following the harvest.
