Bortolomiol 'Bandarossa' Extra Dry Prosecco Sparkling Wine owes its name to a 'red band' that founder Giuliano Bortolomiol drew on bottles of the year's best selection of Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Extra Dry. This band was reserved for true friends who shared his passion for the land, for tradition, and for fine wine. That special Prosecco di Valdobbiadene that Giuliano marked with a red pencil since 1986 has its own label and represents the quality of the finest sparkling wines from the Bortolomiol cellars. Bandarossa is one of Bortolomiol's historic and most iconic products, dedicated to special occasions: from major sporting events to the most friendly and intimate gatherings. To celebrate its fortieth anniversary, Bortolomiol is introducing a new look for the bottle, which will make this Prosecco Superiore Millesimato even more unique and recognizable. The packaging for the entire Bandarossa line has also been revamped, differentiating it from other vintage wines. The Bandarossa image overhaul project was carried out with an eco-sustainable approach: from the packaging and carton materials to the logistics reorganization, the process was optimized to pursue the sustainability that characterizes the company. Some elements of the first Bandarossa bottle have been revisited and reworked in a modern way; the colors of the new capsule are reminiscent of the 1986 bottle.
