Clear, full, consistent ruby red color.

Olfactive

Quite intense, complex and fine. Opens with delicate and pleasant aromas of dried plum and violet, continues with hints of carob, cocoa and coffee, it closes with a finish of toasted almonds.

Tasting

Dry, warm, quite soft, fresh and quite tasty, a wine with a strong flavor, very dry and rich in tannin.

Pignolo is an ancient Friulian vine has almost disappeared, but which, thanks to the company Jermann, continues today to enrich our tables. The Pignacolusse name combines the bizarre grape form (like a pine cone), with the cadastral name of the vineyard, then a tribute to indigenous fruit and to its territory. The company is convinced still betting on this variety because it believes the expression of strong personality and pronounced typicality, a wine with a strong flavor, very dry and rich in tannin and that, in certain cases, it may be rough and edgy, a wine which, they say, may look to the character of those who produce it. Best served at a temperature of 16-18 degrees.
