Ceretto's 'Bernardina' Nebbiolo is produced on the Monsordo-Bernardina estate, one of the most suitable sites in the Alba area for producing great Nebbiolo. Although it shares the same soil and climate as the neighboring Barolo area, due to a technicality, it was not admitted within the protected area of the prestigious appellation. Today, the vineyards surrounding the historic farmhouse produce high-quality grapes. Fermentation in stainless steel and aging in old wood yield wines with great expressive potential, complex and long-lived, protected by the Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC.
