Valtellina Superiore Grumello ''Rocca De Piro'' Ar.pe.pe owes its name to Castel Grumello, owned by the De Piro family in the fourteenth century. This twin fortress consists of two separate structures, once joined by a wall overlooking the hillside planted with Nebbiolo delle Alpi. The wine is a blend of grapes from the two estate vineyards located in the Grumello area. It surprisingly quickly becomes drinkable, and upon its debut, it always presents itself punctually: ready to drink, but also excellent for cellaring among the reserves.
