Prendina Merlot is made with 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet. The different ripening times of the grapes (early for the Merlot, later for the Cabernet) require separate fermentation. After malolactic fermentation and a brief aging in second- and third-use barriques, the wine is bottled in March.

Merlot Prendina is a versatile and soft wine suitable for everyday dining.
Contains sulfites.
Prendina Merlot is made with 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet. The different ripening times of the grapes (Merlot is early, Cabernet later) require separate fermentations. The Merlot, which ripens in late September, undergoes a longer maceration due to its softer, less aggressive tannins. The Cabernet, harvested in mid-October, is racked to ensure the fruit's maximum expression. After malolactic fermentation and a brief aging in second- and third-use barriques to ensure this wine's freshness and pleasantness, the wine is bottled in March.
