Gattinara Travaglini is produced exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes grown near the town of Gattinara. It's an elegant wine with balsamic aromas and astonishing longevity. A great wine that certainly couldn't be bottled in a normal bottle, so Giancarlo Travaglini conceived a work of art back in 1958: a special bottle that can be served at the world's most prestigious tables. This bottle, during decanting or decanting, retains any natural sediment that a great Gattinara can form over the years. Furthermore, this shape allows for direct service from bottle to glass, avoiding the aforementioned processes. The dark color of the bottle prevents the passage of light, which could cause the classic 'glare' effect.
