Visual

Crystal clear, pale yellow with green reflections, quite substantial.

Olfactive

Intense and quite complex, fruity aromas of pear and apricot, barely perceptible classic almond and aroma of wild flowers. Quite fine.

Tasting

Dry, warm, quite soft, it is tasty and dynamic with a good balance result of the excellent fusion of freshness and salinity but also by the excellent matching nose mouth.

Combinations

Excellent as an aperitif, the wine pairs well with prosciutto San Daniele, dishes based on eggs and asparagus. Interesting marriage with oriental dishes.

Description

This Friulano is the pioneer of all other Friuli vinified then bottled for the first time in 1965, is the essence of his company and the avant-garde of his time, a traditional wine with a strong typicality and personality, but which opened oenological doors into the future. It is made exclusively from Friulano grapes, grape historic the Collio Gorizia planted in breezy hillside location in the predominantly Eocene marl soils. The collection of these grapes is manual, the soft pressing which is followed by a short settling time in the total absence of sulfur dioxide. The wine that emerges is full of minerality and flavor, a concentration of quality that represents the territory. Excellent as an aperitif, it should be served at a temperature of 10-12 degrees.
