Fioranello Bianco Tenuta di Fiorano is produced on the estate owned by Prince Alessandrojacopo Buoncompagni Ludovisi with Grechetto and Viognier grapes. The estate is located a few kilometers from the center of Rome, between the Appian Way Park and the slopes of the Alban Hills. The vineyards of Tenuta di Fiorano extend over soil composed primarily of pozzolana and sediments from the eruption of the nearby Lazio volcano. These well-drained soils give the grapes and the wines they produce outstanding potential for long aging. The vines were planted with a southwest/northeast exposure, allowing the vines to receive perfect lighting throughout the day. The winds blowing from the nearby sea and the hills of the Castelli Romani contribute to maintaining the integrity and health of the grapes, which are planted using a counter-espalier training system.
