Chateau Latour Martillac Blanc, produced in the Pessac-Léognan region, is one of the few areas in Bordeaux where dry white wines are produced. Here, the grapes ferment in barriques and then mature for about 15 months on their lees before being bottled. Chateau Latour Martillac Blanc takes its name from a tower located in the castle's main courtyard. This is the last intact part of a 12th-century fortress, which once guarded the road from Bordeaux to Toulouse.
