The Tormaresca Antinori Chardonnay 'Pietrabianca' is produced on the 'Tenuta Bocca di Lupo' estate, nestled in the Murgia hills, and its name is inspired by this terroir. 'Pietrabianca' recalls the rocks that farmers encounter while preparing the soil. Once ground and incorporated into the soil, these rocks help enhance the aromas of the wines produced there. Rich, complex, yet fresh and pleasant, with notes of grass and toasted hazelnuts.

Antinori's Tormaresca 'Pietrabianca' Chardonnay is produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. The grapes are gently pressed, and the resulting must is placed in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 10°C (50°F) to allow for natural decantation. The Chardonnay is then racked into new French and Hungarian oak barrels, where it undergoes alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature. It is then aged in barriques on the fine lees, during which malolactic fermentation takes place. The Fiano, on the other hand, is fermented in stainless steel at a temperature of 16°C (61°F), enhancing its freshness and acidity.
