Vietti's Barolo 'Castiglione' comes from small but very important vineyards in the municipalities of Castiglione Falletto, Monforte, Barolo, Novello, and La Morra, with vines ranging in age from 7 to 40 years. Each individual cru is vinified separately and, after 24-30 months of aging in barriques and large barrels, is blended before bottling.

Vietti's Barolo 'Castiglione' comes from small but highly significant vineyards in the municipalities of Castiglione Falletto, Monforte, Barolo, Novello, and La Morra, with vines ranging in age from 7 to 40 years. The soil is calcareous and clayey. The Guyot training system has an average density of approximately 4,800 vines per hectare. Each individual cru is vinified and aged separately, using different methods to individually enhance the distinctive characteristics of each terroir.
