Walter Massa's Timorasso 'Sterpi' is produced exclusively from white grapes that have always been grown in the Apennine and pre-Apennine hills of the 'Marca Obertenga' region. It is made from cold maceration for approximately 40–45 hours, followed by fermentation for approximately 12 months in stainless steel tanks and periodic lees stirring for approximately 12 months. It is bottled approximately 14 months after harvest.
