Contains sulfites.

The St. Magdalener 'Hausler' Terlan takes its name from the wine-growing village of Santa Maddalena just outside Bolzano. Its elegance and fruity notes still attract many fans today and are gradually making a comeback. In the past, this traditional blend, made from the two native grape varieties, Schiava and Lagrein, not only played a leading role in Alto Adige winemaking but was also one of Italy's most renowned red wines. Harvest and selection are done by hand. Destemming of the grapes is followed by slow fermentation at a controlled temperature, with gentle stirring of the must in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation and aging for 7-10 months in large wooden barrels. Blending takes place one month before bottling.
