Colterenzio's Sauvignon 'Lafoa' is grown with the finest Sauvignon grapes on moraine gravel soil. The vineyards are located in a sunny position and enjoy a dry climate that yields wines of great personality, structure, and elegance. The wine is crystalline, free of suspended particles, and straw yellow in color with distinct golden highlights. On the nose, it is intense, complex, and refined. It releases bold vegetal notes, fruity nuances, and aromatic accents reminiscent of elderberry, acacia flowers, and sage, all tied together by elegant oaky notes. On the palate, it is dry, warm, and smooth, a muscular, full-bodied wine, yet never overpowering, with a refreshing acidity and a long finish. Best served at 10-12 degrees Celsius.
