Pomino Bianco 'Benefizio' Riserva Frescobaldi tells the story of Chardonnay in Tuscany: this variety was introduced to the Estate in 1855 – in 1878 Pomino received the gold medal at the Paris Expo for the quality of its wines – in 1973, from a vineyard at 700 m above sea level, Benefizio was born, the first white wine in Italy to ferment in barrique – since 2005 it has been Benefizio Riserva.
