Terenzi's Morellino di Scansano 'Purosangue' Riserva is produced exclusively from Sangiovese grapes grown on deep, well-drained soils with coarse sand and deep clay, rich in gravel. It is fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 28°-30°C for 15 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place naturally in stainless steel. It ages for 12 months in large barrels and then in bottle for 6 months.
