Fattoria La Massa boasts 27 hectares of south-facing vineyards in the 'Conca d'Oro' of Panzano, at an average altitude of 360 meters above sea level. The soils are predominantly composed of scaly clay and marl, and the vines are trained using spurred cordon. Harvest takes place between late September and early October. Favorable climatic conditions, a meticulous selection of the harvest date for each parcel, and meticulous selection of the grapes on sorting tables allow for very precise and respectful spontaneous fermentations. The wines are aged in French oak barriques, 20% of which are new. Bottling takes place in a single batch starting in March.
