Franciacorta Berlucchi '61 Saten is a celebrated label from the Franciacorta brand's collection, created in homage to the 1960s, a period in which Berlucchi established itself as a pioneer in Italian sparkling wine. The low dosage enhances the quality of the grapes, through mature and complex aromas that are both intense and elegant. After harvesting the predominantly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, separate vinification is carried out by varietal and vineyard. The bunches are gently pressed, and the free-run must is fermented in temperature-controlled tanks. After aging, the base wines of the vintage are blended, adding 20% reserve wines. The secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Classic Method.
