Fiano di Avellino ''Exultet'' Quintodecimo is an elegant and refined interpretation of Fiano di Avellino. It is produced exclusively with grapes from a single Fiano vineyard located in Lapio. It has a bright yellow color with green highlights and distinct varietal aromas of lime, acacia, and thyme. With a dense and continuous structure, it develops aromas of exotic fruit, candied citrus, and honey in a very light mineral matrix. Its particular elegance also derives from the brief aging in small oak barrels during fermentation. It is a long-lived wine that can age well for several decades thanks to its richness in aromatic precursors and its freshness and integrity of flavor. The name given to the wine comes from the Exultet of Mirabella Eclano, which also features a tribute to bees. Exultet are liturgical scrolls from the Southern Middle Ages. They are a sort of multimedia product ante litteram made up of sheets of parchment sewn together on which the text of the benedictio cerei is transcribed, accompanied by musical notations and illustrated by miniatures that run in the opposite direction to the writing.
