The grapes all grow in the typical Bandol soils: limestone, sandstone, sandy marl, and a particularly dry and sunny climate. These characteristics ensure that the main grape in this blend, Mourvèdre, expresses its full potential, providing structure and a great aging potential. The cuvée is complemented by the full-bodied Grenache, the softness of Cinsault, and, for its small contribution, the fruity roundness of Syrah.
