Ingredients
Los Vascos Chardonnay is produced with select grapes from the Casablanca Valley, between Santiago and Valparaiso. The grapes are hand-picked and carefully selected. The resulting must is macerated and fermented slowly in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The result is an easy-drinking wine with a good fruity bouquet and a long finish.
Contains sulfites.
The Chardonnay ‘Los Vascos’ from Domaines Baron de Rothschild is produced in the municipality of Peralillo, within the Colchagua Valley in Chile. The Rothschild family's winemaking tradition dates back to the 19th century, to 1848, when James de Rothschild purchased the famous Château Lafite. After more than a century of family history connected to the world of wine, in 1973, with the arrival of Edmond de Rothschild, two ‘Crus Bourgeois’ in Listrac and Moulis en Médoc were purchased: Château Clarke and Château Malmaison. The Chardonnay ‘Los Vascos’ is produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, where the wine remains for a short period before being bottled.
