Brunello di Montalcino ''Riserva'' Poggio di Sotto is produced by selecting the best barrel from the entire winery each year, which generally corresponds to the ecological niche of the vineyards located 200 meters above sea level. The production area is Castelnuovo dell'Abate, in the Orcia River valley. The vineyard is trained using the spurred cordon system. Aged in 30 hl oak barrels for 60 months and in bottle for 12 months. The wine is not filtered before bottling.
