The 2017 Brunello di Montalcino La Fiorita is produced by the eponymous winery. Founded in 1992, La Fiorita had a vineyard area of approximately half a hectare, with an annual production of around a thousand bottles of Brunello di Montalcino. The winery was located in the basement of an 18th-century building, in the heart of the medieval village of Castelnuovo Abate. The winery currently has approximately seven hectares of vineyards, divided between the two plots of 'Poggio al Sole' and 'Pian Bossolino.' Today, the owners of La Fiorita, Natalie Oliveros and Roberto Cipresso, have abandoned the old, fascinating winery and can rely on a newly built facility equipped with cutting-edge technology. The results have been more than satisfactory from the start, starting with the first vintage, and the future is more than promising.
