Brunello di Montalcino Baricci is produced with grapes from the northern part of the Montalcino region, on the slope overlooking the city of Siena, at an altitude of 280 meters above sea level on the Montosoli hill, considered for centuries an area of excellence and great winemaking vocation. The company was founded in 1955 when the Baricci family, a farming family, after many years of physical and financial sacrifice, managed to purchase the small farm called Colombaio di Montosoli. The cellar is equipped with stainless steel tanks and Slavonian oak barrels. The vinification and aging process faithfully follow the traditional rules that have made Brunello famous throughout the world. Indeed, the wine remains in barrels for at least 3 years and is then refined for another 8 months in bottle before being released for sale.
