The Barolo 'Vigna Rionda' Riserva Massolino is produced with Nebbiolo grapes from the Me.G.A. 'Vigna Rionda' vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba. This traditional Barolo features long fermentation and maceration in oak vats at around 30°C; it is aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for up to 42 months, followed by a further 24 months in the bottle. The soil and microclimate of this hill yield exceptionally structured and complex wines. Traditional winemaking enhances the qualities of this wine, respecting its natural predisposition for long aging while simultaneously emphasizing the elegance and depth that only this vineyard can provide.
