Pinot Bianco Niedrist is made from 100% Pinot Bianco grapes. The vines used are the result of clonal and mass selection. The grapes are grown in Appiano Monte on east-facing slopes at 500-600 meters above sea level on calcareous soils at the foot of the Mendola Massif, predominantly Dolomite. The harvest is done manually. Vinification is done without skins with fermentation in stainless steel for approximately 14 days at 19-20°C; the yeasts used are selected on the estate. The wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation. It ages in stainless steel on the fine lees, stabilizing and lightly filtering before bottling.
